Steph Curry might be the current front-runner for NBA MVP but he was no match for 10-year-old phenom Jaden Newman. Newman, who already plays high school varsity basketball and has been recruited by the University of Miami despite her age, entered a shooting competition against Curry and beat him 16 to 15.
Before the competition began, Newman asked Curry to sign a note excusing her from school. The note read “Please excuse Jaden Newman from class today. She’s beating Stephen Curry in a three-point competition.”
