This New 4D Batman Theme Park Ride Looks Like a Giant Nope-Coaster

This New 4D Batman Theme Park Ride Looks Like a Giant Nope-Coaster
Growing up outside of St. Louis, there was a Six Flags only a forty-minute drive away. You could look right off the highway and see the sprawling parking lot, the giant Ferris wheel, and the twisted metal of all the roller coasters. The most imposing snake-like construction was Batman: The Ride.
For me and my friends, it was almost a rite of passage to ride this thing. Once you had traversed the enviable "you must be this tall" sign, you jumped on Batman: The Ride until you puked your guts out. In 2015, Six Flags hopes to add another Batman ride to its legion of roller coasters. This time in San Antonio, Texas. But this isn't your traditional, legs dangling thrill ride. Instead, this guy will also rotate your seat 360-degrees as you travel along its tracks.
Nope. Just...Nope.
The Los Angeles Times describes this metal monstrosity as the first of its kind and a crossbreed from the Green Lantern 4D coasterand the X-Flight wing coaster, both at other Six Flags theme parks. I will say I do appreciate Six Flags setting the scene with this teaser trailer, complete with ominous skies...because Batman!
Are you braver than I? Would you actually give this new Batman ride a shot? [The Los Angeles Times]

Not going to lie, this chick has more artistic talent than I ever will. This makeup artists’ “art” is using her lips to create… Cartoon characters and such. It’s wildly cool.c

What's in my makeup bag?

Following the post below, here are some of my essentials in my makeup bag that I carry around at all times...

MAC FACE AND BODY

My mac face and body in C4 is my favourite summer foundation. I've just been on holiday so have caught the sun on my face a little bit. Face and body is so light and you can use it sparingly and just apply with your fingers (tut!)

MAC CONCEALER

I tend to get quite dark circles under my eyes so a little bit of this each morning does the trick, although I am a firm believer that you can go a long way with just foundation and concealer is not always necessary.

CLINIQUE POWDER

I haven't been using this as much as I'm loving the dewy skin look at the moment rather then matte but I keep it with me just incase! I love everything Clinique, if I have a client who has sensitive skin I will pull out all my Clinique products as they are so gentle and light.

MAC LIPLINER

The lip liner I am obsessing over at the moment is 'Staunchly Stlyish' by Mac. It's the perfect colour match for my lips as I'm girl crushin' on Kylie Jenner and the overdrawn lip thing right now.

MAC LIPSTICK

This week it's 'Coral Bliss.' Always changing lip colour.

HE-SHI BRONZER

I hadn't actually heard of He-Shi before but this was a birthday present from my brother who knows nothing about makeup so I hesitantly tried it out. I probably won't use any other bronzer again now as the pigment in this is amazing and very long-lasting. The different shades mean that you can really build up layers and will look good on many different skin tones

Aspinal of London

Today I received a lovely gift from the luxury leather goods company, Aspinal of London.

It's their Hepburn Cosmetic bag in Deer Saffiano and I am in love! It's the perfect size for all my essentials and I love the classic, simple nude colour.

I also have their Business and Credit Card holder in Red Lizard and Cream Suede which is perfect for carrying my business cards around in! I've had it for about 2 years now and it's still in perfect condition.

Look out for my next post to see what's inside my makeup bag this summer!

Red smokey eye

It's no lie I'm a sucker for red eyeshadow! It's a great colour for hazel eyes with it's rich, autumn tones.

For this look I used Melt Cosmetics lipstick in '6six6' as a base (a little trick I stole from Lora Arellano - owner of Melt Cosmetics) I then used Ben Nye 'raisin' shadow on top.

When achieving a smokey eye I apply the shadow, then blend, apply more shadow, blend again and carry on repeating these two steps until you get the desired look. Even if the makeup you're using is highly pigmented, this way of application gives a perfect dramatic look, keep layering!

I used my favourite Maybelline gel liner on the top of my eye with a dramatic flick and Barry M on my waterline. Two of my favourite high street buys!

Anastasia Beverly Hills on my brows in Auburn and Dark Brown and to finish if off i have Flutter Lashes on in 'Arielle'

Favourites of the month!

I couldn't do just one this month so here are 3 of my favourites that are a must-have in my kit this summer.

First off is Mac Fix+

This is my go to when a client asks for dewy/glowing skin. A lot of makeup artists apply it at the very end of makeup application to set everything. I do this occasionally too but my favourite way to use it is after moisturising and before any makeup application. I find it refreshes the skin instantly and gives that perfect fresh look.

My second and third is Mac Strobe Cream and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.

I use the Strobe as a highlighter, applying on the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose and the tip, lightly on the chin and then a light application just on top of the lips at the cupids bow. This gives the illusion of plumper lips even before any lip liner or lipstick is applied.

My third product is the Eight Hour Cream. I have this in my own makeup bag as well as my kit.
I primarily use it as a lip moisturiser but it is also perfect for those stray eyebrow hairs, moisturising cuticles and I've also used it on the odd cut or spot.
